William L. Petersen starring opposite Mark Wahlberg and Amy Brenneman in James Foley's "Fear" (1996). One obvious Michael Mann connection here is that on of Petersen's co-stars here (Brenneman) featured promintently as Robert De Niro's object of affection in Mann's crime opus: "HEAT".
