Harris has had four novels published to date. His first was 'Black Sunday' (1975) and the other three published to date are the Hannibal Lector trilogy ('Red Dragon', 'The Silence of the Lambs' and 'Hannibal')

There is constant speculation surrounding whether or not Harris plans to compose another chapter in the Lecter saga. The author is a very private (and, according to some reports almost reclusive) character, so such anticipation is usually sourced from fan rumours from right here on the Internet (and, as such, have little or no grounding)
