As you can see from the colourful artwork shown on this page, Thomas Harris' book 'Red Dragon' has had numerous cover designs since it's original publication back in 1981. (a time when future Manhunter director Michael Mann was busy directing his first major motion picture titled 'Thief'

In addition to the various covers for Red Dragon that I have come across on the internet, (which are shown here), I have also included some closely connected covers, including a photograph of the author himself.

Note from the foreign covers included here, that the french translated title for Red Dragon was 'Dragon Rouge', and it's German counterpart was 'Roter Drache'.

Finally, you may be interested to know that in France, Manhunter was known as 'Le Sixieme Sens'.
