The music of Jan Hammer...

August 2006 update: Despite several promising rumours to the contrary, I can confirm that Jan Hammer's music and main theme are not featured in the otherwise impressive Miami Vice movie :(

Update! Having now seen the film, I can confirm that in actual fact there is a subtle reference to Hammer's iconic "Crockett's Theme" present in Miami Vice, The Movie! Best of all, this strong piece of score IS included on the OST CD for the film (the Crockett's Theme reference appears in the final cue from Klaus Badelt - "A-500") Listen to a sample clip here!
