Did you know that Michael Mann originally approached Jericho Mile star Brian Dennehy to take the role of Hannibal Lecktor in "Manhunter"? (Mann has since confirmed that Dennehy kindly declined the offer, on the grounds that he claimed to know of another actor who he considered "perfect" for the role. That other actor was of course Brian Cox!

DVD information..

Sadly, there is yet to be an official American or English language DVD release of "The Jericho Mile". On a brighter note, a Dutch release does exist (with an English language option) and from time-to-time the UK Pal VHS release does turn up 2nd Hand (or even "new") on amazon.co.uk.
